The ITEC Anatomy and Physiology Course Syllabus

ITEC was my exam board in 1989, I am shocked to say that was thirty three years ago. Back then, I was taught by the founder of ITEC, the International Therapy Examination Council, William Arnould Taylor who started it in 1947. It will be 75 years old this year and is recognised in over thirty countries. Wikipedia writes about it!

When I studied anatomy and physiology it was taught in a lecture theatre in London with hundreds of students over a weekend.

Now it is taught in therapy schools and online. I created our online anatomy and physiology course in 2009, when distance learning was becoming popular for my students of massage.

The syllabus has developed and grown to take about one hundred hours of study and includes:

Testimonials

"I think your system is fantastic, and is so much easier than being in class, mainly because it's possible to pause, take your time, and re watch. I find the tutor extremely engaging, more so than just reading typed words on a page. The system that I have watched has helped me recognise areas of weakness, and affirm areas of knowledge."
