Syllabus for ITEC level 3 Certificate in anatomy and physiology

Published on 26th June 2017

Some years ago the department for education called for all the main UK exam boards to come into line and unify their syllabus. In 2017 the VTCT and ITEC merged although they still currently operate as separate exam boards. The syllabus for both includes all the systems of the body, the basic living unit of the the body the cell and hair and nails. This is because the exam boards cover a number of different vocations including exercise trainer, hair dresser, sports massage, beauty therapist and reflexologist and they have 1 syllabus for all disciplines.

The syllabus can be viewed here: Syllabus for ITEC level 3 Certificate in anatomy and physiology

"I'm really enjoying your Anatomy and physiology courses- a fantastic way to learn! Love the video lessons and the worksheets are a brilliant idea too. The whole thing makes learning fun and interactive rather than having to do copious amounts of reading followed by a multiple choice quiz!"
