Spring is the natural time to open up, dust down and let the air in, ideally not only our homes but our minds as well. The winter months take their toll on our perspective, often crushing our creativity and leaving us feeling lethargic and sleepy.
Take the time to shake off this wintry hibernation with the help of essential oils and you’ll be delighted with the results. i am sure this will help you focus on studying you anatomy and physiology course. You need discipline and concerntration to learn all this new anatomy and phsyiology, all those bones and muscles!
Spritz your living spaces with uplifting blends of lemon, cedarwood, grapefruit, rosemary and geranium. These oils effectively lighten our mood, stimulate positive reflection and provide much needed mental clarity. Rosemary is well know for remembrance. If you are struggling with those origns and insertions of muscles, a little rosemary may well help.
Add up to 40 drops to 50ml distilled water in a small spritz bottle. Shake very well before each use and spray into the air, not on to surfaces.
The use of an oil burner or diffuser has a similarly powerful effect. To aid contemplation and de-clutter a busy mind, add one drop each of frankincense and jasmine to the water in a diffuser. This is particularly beneficial as a support during meditation to renew energy, dispel procrastination and spur thoughts into action.
An alternative blend of geranium and peppermint will help to refresh and uplift, invigorating the mind after a long, sluggish winter.
Spring clean your mind, how refreshing!
